Administrative Assistant

Description

Provide clerical and administrative support for the branch location.

prepare correspondence and maintain files for the Branch Manager and the Sales Department, including updating product literature files.

Gather and distribute branch news notes.

Coordinate all meetings.

Coordinate purchases of all office supplies and equipment for the branch.

Prepare and distribute monthly branch operations reports.

Maintain all branch personnel records. Introduce Company policies and benefits to new employees at the

branch location. Assist employees in enrollments or changes in benefit coverage.

Complete all safety and accident reports for branch employees.

Provide relief as necessary for the Receptionist.

Perform typing and filing assignments for branch personnel

Assist in answering incoming calls for the branch and route each call to the appropriate party.

Assist customers as necessary if sales personnel are unavailable.

Verify weekly time and submit for payroll.

Other administrative duties as required for branch operations to obtain objectives.

Qualifications

High School diploma/GED or relevant experience for the position"

Knowledge and experience in the use of spreadsheets, word processing, and databases, preferably MS Word, Excel, and Access.

Pleasant demeanor in greeting visitors and dealing with telephones calls.

Ability to use basic office equipment (e.g., telephone system, printer, fax, copier, etc.)

Must possess strong interpersonal and customer relation skills.

Must have an internal drive for customer service and provide an elevated level of service for internal and

external customers.
