What you’ll be doing...
The selected candidates will demonstrate experience in absence and tardiness control plans with working knowledge of scheduling, resource and capacity management. The candidate will be required to model and drive individual, group and environmental behaviors that drive effective time management. This includes:
Ensuring adherence to scheduling guidelines and that absence/tardiness information is recorded timely, thoroughly and with quality.
Oversee daily interaction with Sedgwick regarding employee restrictions, FMLA status, and pay treatment.
Oversee the processing of the Americans with Disabilities Act cases, workman's compensation applications, family care leaves and leaves of absence. Attain a thorough knowledge of the labor union contract and interface with Labor Relations.
What we’re looking for...
You will demonstrate experience in resource and capacity management with advanced knowledge in excel, access and database management.
You’ll need to have:
Associate’s degree or two or more years of work experience.
Three or more years of relevant work experience.
Even better if you have:
Five or more years of experience with absence audit and STD/FMLA processes.
One or more years of experience with excel database including proficiency in creating pivot tables.
Five or more years of experience in AMTS and Cognos.
Experience in developing a reporting process for GNO organization to identify strengths and gaps.
Specific knowledge and expertise in California absence processes relative to collective bargaining agreement, varying state laws, ADA requirements, worker’s compensation, STD/FMLA guidelines and discipline process.
