Oracle Product Marketing Director in Blue Ash, Ohio
Development and implementation of business plans, marketing strategy, and forecasts for a product/service or vertical market.
As a product analyst you will participate in every stage of the product life cycle to ensure product meets the needs of users. Drive the implementation of programs in support of the marketing strategy, business plans, and forecasts for assigned product lines. Maintains current status of customer specifications for existing and future products. Identify, evaluate, and recommend marketing opportunities in support of product line objectives. Drive product functionality delivering high quality product documentation. Lead products through scheduled release assisting others to manage commitments and resources. Measure and report progress and review deliverables.
Acknowledged authority within the Corporation. Provides leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Demonstrated product/project management experience. Ability to work with Executives. Strong interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Demonstrated product/project management experience. Creative, energetic, and enthusiastic. Team player. Experience using or implementing Oracle, SAP, or Peoplesoft applications. Basic HTML and web technology skills a plus. BA/BS/MBA degree.
This is a remote/office based position which may be performed anywhere in the United States except for within the state of Colorado.

The Director of Product Marketing will lead the go-to-market strategy, messaging, positioning, enablement, and content for Oracle Cloud HCM solutions.
Specific responsibilities include:
Use your creativity and writing expertise to develop compelling campaign content and messaging (e.g. messaging frameworks, customer presentations, ebooks, videos, blogs) hitting all stages of the marketing and sales funnel.
Be the go-to expert for your product areas and go-to-market initiatives—maintaining a deep understanding of the market landscape, trends, competitor capabilities, and customer use cases.
Define differentiation, positioning, and a streamlined value proposition that is clearly understood both internally and externally.
Plan and manage product launches that showcase innovation to customers, prospects, analysts, and internal partners.
Enable sales teams with the training to be successful, and the tools they need to drive action (pitch decks, customer stories, battle cards, etc.).
Collaborate and drive alignment across an array of internal teams (such as Development, Sales, Product Management, Marketing) to define appropriate product marketing mix, strategy, and go-to-market activities.
Analyze market position and define ways to boost market share, considering such things as customer segmentation, industry segmentation, and product TCO/ROI.
Measure and internally socialize how your activities support revenue growth and customer happiness.
Preferred skills & experience
8 years’ experience in product marketing within the cloud technology sector, preferably the HCM or ERP space.
An outstanding communicator, who can write, present, and effectively adjust messages to meet individual audiences and organizations.
Proven record of driving transformation and partnering closely with cross-functional teams.
Passion for problem solving in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent program/project management skills with ability to drive sophisticated strategic and operational initiatives.
Can translate high volumes of ambiguous or conflicting information into concise insights.
Outstanding strategic problem solver with a customer-centric mentality.
