Summary:

To assist with gathering and updating FCC licensing information related to the licensed tenant frequencies at SBA’s towers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with miscellaneous administrative duties within the department.

  • Create database of FCC licenses using vendor data.

  • Query SBA database using SQL/Excel to determine carrier frequencies.

  • Interpret data of low to medium complexity in order for it to be entered into the research database.

  • Other projects and duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED required.

  • College degree seeking student with major in Management Information Systems and/or Computer Science strongly preferred.

  • Must be proficient in Excel.

  • Must be proficient in SQL.

    Language Skills:

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.

    Mathematical Skills:

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area and volume.

    Reasoning Ability:

  • Ability to carry out instruction furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
