Your Role and Responsibilities
The Social Media Analytics Development Team is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic computer science student to help build a monitoring and operations center for our cloud-native analytics service.
The Social Media Team is part of the Business Analytics organisation within IBM Data and AI and provides cloud based analytic services for Social Media data. We're looking for a student that helps us create an end-to-end monitoring concept for our analytics pipeline, which will be used by our operations team.
As part of this monitoring concept, you'll create a web application that pulls together information from a NoSQL database and our Apache Spark cluster, which allows our operations team to get insights on the status of specific analysis jobs.
Moreover, you'll work with the team to create dashboards that provide insights into overall system health, and evaluate instrumentation and alerting approaches.
