Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a highly talented and motivated Technical Coordinator for immediate employment in our Bogota, Colombia office. The Technical Coordinator reports directly to the Aviation Manager and will have an in-depth knowledge of design and construction management.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinates and produce monthly progress reports

  • Responsible to negotiate and coordinate all scope and fee related documents for all subcontractors for different projects

  • Maintains and coordinates subcontracts required documentation

  • Responsible for establishing and monitoring work progress by all disciplines

  • Responsible for monitoring and report schedule progress by all disciplines and subcontracts

  • Reviews and recommend approval of all subcontract invoices

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in engineering

  • 5+ years of experience required

  • Prior experience in construction or design industry

  • Previous contract management experience

  • Previous subcontract management experience

  • Good formatting, grammatical, word processing and spreadsheet skills using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills along with ability to prioritize work load along with attention to detail

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of work

  • Ability to build solid relationships with Owners, Subcontractors, Vendors, and Designers

  • Extensive knowledge of development and construction of complex multi-year public works projects

  • Fluent Spanish and English
