Description & Requirements:
The OAA team is looking for an experienced Consulting Member of Technical Staff/Architect with a track record of developing and supporting complex software products and services, to help transform OAA products and technology into the next generation of cloud services.
Due to the scope of responsibilities and domain knowledge required, this role calls for a highly technical, passionate and result oriented candidate who will work with developers and product managers, to ensure the successful development and uptake of the next generation of OAA cloud services.
The position requires experience in cloud service design and development. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure experience is very desirable.
The preferred qualifications include experience in the design of data center computing architectures, cloud, and hybrid solutions. The candidate should have background in service oriented architecture and system integration. Good understanding of security architecture in the context of large scale data warehousing and identity management is essential.
The candidate needs to have strong communication and analytical skills, a thorough understanding of product development, and proven track record of designing, developing, and bringing into production high quality applications.
10 years experience in the IT industry
Experience with Cloud Architecture/Development, docker containers, kubernetes, kafka, RESTful APIs is required
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Define specifications for significant new projects and specify, design and develop software according to those specifications. You will perform professional software development tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience.
