We are looking for

strong software and system engineers to take on the challenge of building the

state-of-art DevOps tools to support cloud infrastructure engineering and

operations. You will build pipelines to support automated testing and

continuous deployments, build fully automated monitoring system to detect

customer issues and diagnose them, and build tools and websites to facilitate

common operational tasks and analyze abnormal usage patterns. The work is non-routine and complex. Your solutions will

directly contribute to our customer’s success.

BasicQualifications:

  • B.S. or better in Computer Science or other engineering

disciplines

  • Proficient with Python, Bash, or Java

  • Deep knowledge of Networking Services (TCP and UDP based,

DNS, DHCP)

  • Deep knowledge of Linux and host based networking

  • Expert Linux performance and stability troubleshooting

skills

  • 2 years managing host virtualization technologies (KVM,

Containers, Docker, etc)

  • Familiar with test automation and continuous delivery

  • Excellent communication skills

PreferredQualifications:

  • Proficient in coding complex systems using Python, Java,

C/C , or GoLang

  • Deep focus on building secure Internet facing systems in hostile

environments

  • Familiar with Internet and datacenter network routing

protocols (BGP, OSPF)

  • Experience with devising, managing, and extending

monitoring solutions for large scale environments

  • Familiar with open source monitoring solutions (Gafana, Prometheus,

etc)

  • 3 years of experience in production software development

with Agile methodologies

  • 3 years managing host, network, or storage virtualization

technologies

  • Expert troubleshooting skills

  • Expert fleet automation and management solutions

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
