IBM Salesforce Sr. Solution Architect (US) - Bluewolf in Boston, Massachusetts

Job Description

We’re experiencing tremendous growth and are looking to add a sharp Senior Solution Architect to our award-winning team. A Bluewolf Senior Solution Architect combines the skills of a Solution Architect with experience and a deeper knowledge of a particular practice, industry or area of focus. Leveraging that expertise, the SSA demonstrates commitment to customer success, influences the client to adopt best practices, mentors other Bluewolf employees and develops courses for internal use to further develop the internal skills of others. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Alignment of planning and solutions with clients’ technology landscapes and business goals

  • Optimization of solutions through an understanding of business needs and technology capabilities

  • Promotion of best practice related solutions and integrated applications to reduce costs and improve overall adoption

  • Ensure clear and effective communication with project team and project resources

  • Ensure that project does not duplicate functionality or diverge from client strategies

  • Work with Enterprise and Technical Architect(s) to provide a consensus based enterprise solution that is scalable, adaptable and in synchronization with ever changing client needs

  • Adherence to best practices related to solution design, documentation, and guidelines that lead to the identification, selection, development and use of solutions and applications

  • Build employee knowledge and skills in specific areas of expertise through the development of training course and mentoring

  • Assist Client Advisors and Engagement Managers, when requested and available, with Sales Cycle activities related directly to the area of expertise

  • Develop expertise, including requisite certifications, in a specific area of need, such as CPQ, in order to become a practice lead for the Solution Architecture Community

  • Lead / co-lead at least one Solution Architect Community Call

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree, 3-5 years of consulting experience, and the following certifications:

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator

  • Salesforce Certified Sales (or Service) Cloud Consultant

  • Comprehensive knowledge of software, application, and platforms

  • Knowledge of governance, operations and business modeling

  • Strong business processes, process documentation and process improvement skills

  • Demonstrates effective communication skills, both written and spoken, across multiple layers of a project and organization

  • Ability to explain complex technical issues in a way that non-technical people may understand
