The Senior Human Resources Transformation (HRT) Consultant 's purpose is to sell and deliver integrated technology solutions related to our HR Transformation (HRT) practice area and more specifically, the HR Effectiveness (“HRE”) segment of our HRT practice area Key responsibilities are: - Leading efforts to aggressively sell offerings in support of the Human Capital Operations and HR Transformation segment of our Human Capital business. - Leading project teams to develop project work products, and providing management and guidance to the team - Developing client recommendations, writing and delivering client presentations - Consulting with clients through the development of strategies, recommendations, philosophies and programs to meet their identified operations and technology-related needs - Performing needs assessments, defining systems and administrative requirements, actively leading project meetings, conducting client working sessions, reviewing project work products and directing administrative requirements - Acting as an HR Transformation leader leading, delivery and technical subject matter resource to our clients’ HR transformation needs - Serving as an internal subject matter expert to HR Transformation team - Developing, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients in an effort to create opportunities for project extensions, cross-selling, and referrals to new prospects related to HR Transformation - Leading intellectual capital development of offerings and solutions that meet client needs in the marketplace - Mentoring other staff in sales and delivery efforts associated with operations and technology engagements - Maintain awareness of relevant competitor offerings including pricing strategies and product features. Required knowledge, skills and abilities for this position are: - Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, human resource management or organizational psychology -- Master’s degree in business/human resources related field preferred; - 10-15 years’ experience in human resource strategy and redesign or HR management systems consulting; - Ability to effectively and accurately manage multiple tasks and complex sales opportunities in a fast paced environment; - Strong verbal and written communications and presentation skills; - Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, developing productive working relationships with diverse groups of people; - Broad management skills including team building and strategic and tactical management; - Ability to be self-sufficient and generate and close leads independently; - Strong working knowledge of the following human resource functions: benefits, communications, payroll, compensation, recruitment, staffing and training and development; - Familiarity with the purpose, design and implementation of employee service centers, sourcing strategies and internal capability assessments to support the HR Transformation function; - Experience and working knowledge of human resources management systems, including talent and rewards technology offerings; - Familiarity with ERPs, HRIS and Payroll solutions, Enterprise Compensation Solutions, Talent Management, and Benefits Administration Solutions; - Experienced as a project manager, specifically in a consulting environment - creative and proactive problem-solving skills; - Ability to work independently and lead teams on multiple projects; - Strong MS Office skills: PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Word; - Willingness to adapt to changing work and travel requirements At Mercer, we make a difference in the lives of more than 110 million people every day by advancing their health, wealth, and careers.
