IBM Technical Support Professional - Storwize / SVC in Boston, Massachusetts
Do you like to solve puzzles? Our team is full of achieving experts in IBM System Storage. The team supports IBM clients, IBM Sales, Business Partners, IBM Field Engineers delivering a superior client experience. Although this is an entry level position, the Technical Support Professional role is that of an expert. We are looking for individuals with proven analytical skills, who are self starters, and are motivated by solving complex solution problems. Often times working with little or incorrect data and has patience needed to work under pressure to drive a problem to resolution. Someone who is equally comfortable speaking with administrators, engineers, and executives.
You must have skills to communicate complex technical topics to customers and be able to resolve their problems remotely. Duties include supporting IBM Storage Virtualization products (SAN Volume Controller, Storwize, Host Attach Software, Subsystem Device Driver) remotely over the phone or via electronic means of communication. You must be able to interpret dumps and system traces and identify failing components. This is a 7x24 support organization utilizing the follow the sun model, where team members interface with worldwide clients/teams and are required to carry a cell phone on a rotational basis. Dependability and flexibility are required characteristics. This position will be located in the Research Triangle Park, NC or the Tucson, AZ office.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
