Roles and Responsibilities:
CBRE Global Investors - Americas is seeking a Financial Analyst to provide analytical and
transactional support in acquisition and asset management of commercial real estate
investments, including underwriting, due diligence, financing, lease analysis and annual budgets.
This position would involve 1) utilizing Argus and Excel to create financial models and
other analysis to evaluate potential acquisition and joint venture opportunities, 2) due diligence
consisting of reviewing leases, financial information and third-party reports, 3) developing
presentation materials for investment committee approval, 4) processing transactions through
close, 5) evaluate lease proposals, and 6) annual valuations.
Support the Multi-Housing and Commercial Acquisitions Team in analyzing potential investment opportunities
Complete various financial analysis including discounted cash flow valuation,
lease analysis, sensitivity analysis, and other ad hoc analysis
Source and analyze market research, including future supply and forecast market rents
Coordinate due diligence and closing efforts, including: review of leases, financial
statements, rent roll, operating expenses, third-party reports, estoppels and closing statements
Maintain and update weekly pipeline reports
Assist in the preparation of Investment Committee materials
Assist in the preparation of disposition and financing analysis
Other projects and responsibilities as needed by the Americas team
Bachelor’s Degree (industry certificates, designations and licenses a plus)
1-2 years of experience in financial modeling and commercial real estate valuations
High proficiency in Argus and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated initiative, leadership, team building skills and ability to meet deadlines
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized with ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
