IBM Workforce Restructuring Resource Partner in Boston, Massachusetts

Job Description

Preferred work location: RTP, NC or Rochester, MN

The role of Workforce Restructuring Resource Partner provides support to IBM managers, executives, employees, and other HR functions, including Offboarding. The Resource Partner is responsible for adhering to the restructuring process schedule, scheduling training sessions, communications to managers, maintaining data accuracy, and provision of training and instructional materials to managers. Role is a key resource for employees/managers on restructuring questions and acts as a gatekeeper for plan administrator employee appeals. As such, this employee will need to be able to proactively recognize and manage escalations and/or redirect in a timely manner.

Responsibilities include:

  • Querying, data entry, analysis and reporting

  • Document retention, as well as tracking and closing all action items.

The Resource Partners will additionally contribute his/her skills to project work, including contributing to process improvements. Will perform other duties as assigned by team lead or manager.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 5 years related experience

  • Proficient in corporate and HR policies

  • Proficient in administrative and time management skills

  • Flexibility to work longer hours for targeted time periods

  • High level of professionalism

  • Strong work ethic and desire to perform job at highest standards

  • Maintaining data accuracy

  • Proofreading proficiency

  • Communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders

  • Proactively identify challenges and collaboratively develop solutions

  • High level of coordination, organization and project management skills with ability to adapt quickly to changes.
