CBRE Workplace Innovations Analyst in Boston, Massachusetts


The purpose of this position is to provide space planning, data mining/analysis, reporting and interpretation of space planning metrics in an effort to provide recommendations and proposed solutions for a client's occupancy needs.

Job Function: Provide support as WIT and/or Planning on project execution for all business partners

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Act as Workplace Innovations Team (WIT) member working with business partners alongside Project Delivery and Relocation team to develop:

Pre-move planning Identifying interim and or long term space options Create phasing plans in conjunction with relocation and project delivery Partner with change management team Provide overall business partner project communication and support High proficiency in eSPACE to generate ad hoc reports necessary to support business partner requests or activity Provide support for space planning solutions for business partner needs Be a resource for business partners for general space questions, such as available space, location etc. Be a resource for the relocation project coordinator when determining whether or not to approve a churn move Participate in weekly project meetings for overview for Boston project activities Participate on cross functional initiatives as required Verify eSPACE is accurate once design plans are moved into production in support of Project team Provide general administrative support to the FREC organization as needed

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BEng/BArch) from College or University in a technical area of study. Minimum four years of related experience and/or training.


PMP (US and/or Canada) and LEED AP preferred.


Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.


Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis.


Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.


Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to read and understand architectural drawings. Knowledge in MS Project, leases, contracts, and construction practices.


Decisions made with thorough understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines. Responsible for setting work unit and/or project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to department.
