The Change, Communication and Training (CCT) Decision Support Specialist is a member of the Enterprise IT / ERP Change Management Team and has responsibility to support and execute the SAP user change management strategy and plans in support of a global business transformation for our Company. The position will work directly with all members of the Enterprise IT / ERP Change team, as they engage with divisional and local market resources throughout the Company to ensure successful execution of plans and activities. The Global CCT Decision Support Specialist supports and enables activities of Global ERP CCT with creative, data-driven solutions and technical knowledge. This position enables change strategies designed for ERP stakeholders to be aligned with the program objectives, and meets stakeholder needs and requirements.

The incumbent will support ERP project activities such as communication, change management, training during different phases of an ERP implementation from Preliminary Planning to launch, as well as provide on-going support to live markets in sustainment. This position demands intermediate to expert level knowledge of analytical tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, MS Access, and possibly others, the incumbent should expect to use these tools on a daily basis. Incumbent may also be tasked to become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for various technology ‘platforms’ which Global CCT team uses regularly to meet its core objectives. These platforms may include but are not limited to SuccessFactors (aka myLearning), TRACE (an in-house data management application), SharePoint and related MS Office technologies, Comet’s SAP Training Environment, etc. In addition, this role may support, either directly or indirectly, a variety of projects from time-to-time, as determined by Director Global CCT.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Execute a set of responsibilities leveraging technology tools across areas of SAP roles, training and communications to support the process of enterprise wide business Users gaining authorized access to the system.

  • Utilizing proprietary and general tools (Excel, Microsoft) conduct analytics and provide decision support reports and analysis on a wide range of topics relating to SAP User training and system role access. Responsibility includes exploring innovative process improvements leveraging existing or emerging technologies in creative ways, e.g. Office 365, SharePoint Online, Tibco Spotfire, or others.

  • Support global team members in analyzing user / business issues concerning SAP roles and training to ensure business continuity and enhance user understanding of the systems and processes.

Education Minimum Requirement:

  • Bachelor Degree

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Must Have 5 years exp working with SAP/ERP Deployment projects

  • Must have exp with SAP role design, training, and role system access

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to work across teams, levels, geography, and culture to deliver value-added results

  • Intermediate to Expert level knowledge of data/analytic tools (Excel, Access, Spotfire, etc).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft office and PowerPoint.

  • Familiarity with or practice in writing and running simple to intermediate SQL queries (SQL Server Management Studio) is highly desirable.

  • Ability to work in high paced program with global scope

  • Aptitude and interest for learning new technology is a must.

  • Technical aptitude; ability to learn processes/tools quickly, and a continuous learning mindset are must-haves.

  • Aptitude for ‘translating’ business needs or questions into relevant technical strategies and solutions

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills to engage with stakeholders; appreciation of cultural and language differences

  • Beginner to intermediate experience managing through small-to-medium projects (developing plans, identifying resource requirements, tracking progress, etc)

  • Travel may be required

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Familiarity with SAP role design, training, and role system access / provisioning concepts are highly desirable but not mandatory

  • General business acumen

  • BS or BA degree required; preferred in disciplines of Information Technology or Business Administration
