IBM Senior Automation Developer in BRATISLAVA, Slovakia

Job Description

A position for a security/compliance automation professional who will lead the identification of automation opportunities and the implementation of automation methods which will directly support Network Engineering's requirement to demonstrate compliance to security policies for corporate audit and to the executive management. This position includes working with the server operations squads and the network operations squads to develop automation supporting their security artifact demonstration and reporting requirements. There are various processes and tools already producing data output which we need to integrate and visualize in one Dashboard. This all has to work in automated way without human interaction, eliminating any manual work with information.

Developer skills overview:

• Strong enterprise Java development skills

• Strong Web Services development skills using REST and associated frameworks like Apache Wink

• Experience building web applications (WebSphere App Server experience a plus)

• Experience using relational databases (DB2 and NoSQL experience a plus)

• Familiarity with deploying web application in dev/test environments (WebSphere App Server experience a plus)

• Experience with Agile development methodology

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent related technical discipline

• 2 plus years’ experience in cloud application development, such as JavaScript / Node.js web applications, REST services, HTML, CSS, and Java/J2EE

• Demonstrated experience in Node.js technologies such as TypeScript as well as REST API frameworks like Express and/or Restify

• Exposure to DevOps tools such as Jenkins and Docker or something similar

• 2 plus years’ experience with Test Driven Development and Behavior Driven Development

• English: Fluent

• Salary starting from 3.500EUR/m, depending on relevant experience
