This is an exciting opportunity in Bristol, PA for a Parts Specialist. Cummins USA is where you can work on industry leading projects.

Your impact will happen in these and other ways:

As a motivated liaison between the Parts Department and the Power Generation Department, this experienced Specialist in parts will mostly be focused on managing the orderbook for the Power Generation department. The principal duties relate to maintaining inventory, opening orders, and managing internal and external suppliers by running reports on the ERP software. Some over-the-counter sales are also part of this role as employees at Cummins are cross-trained to handle multiple roles.

  • Serve customers in the parts department by taking orders including: setting up orders, inputting orders into the system, picking/packing parts, shipping & receiving, follow-up as required and invoicing

  • Answer telephone calls and assist customers at counter with parts orders

  • Set up orders, input orders into the system, print pick ticket and follow up as required

  • Picking and packing parts

  • Shipping and receiving product

  • Use forklift truck

  • Answer customer queries and supply technical information

  • Verify credit information

  • Create, maintain and promote a safe, clean workplace

  • Other related duties as required

Qualifications

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

Good computer skills, particularly MS Outlook and Excel

+

Ability to communicate and work well with other employees and customers

+

Customer service focus

+

Attention to detail

+

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Education, Licenses, Certifications

+

Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or equivalent experience.

+

Forklift certification and training will be provided on-site.

Experience

+

At least 2-3 years of related experience.

+

Knowledge of the industry and parts preferred.
