The purpose of the Analyst role is to successfully support a variety of services provided by the PaCS Operations team to multiple clients. Role will include many of the following duties: complete Medicaid Drug Rebate Program claims processing for clients within mandated timelines and support the setup and maintenance of client Medicaid and state program data. Main duties include data management, system utilization, report generation, client interaction and documentation.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Ensure Medicaid and state program claims are processed and paid within mandated 38 day timelines
Perform variance testing of invoice data and research test failures
Conduct Data Entry and Internet searches associated with various process streams
Assist in managing ongoing client relationships (interface w/ clients to resolve specific issues)
Insure the accuracy of results based on the analysis associated with the invoice data
Support ongoing internal software product testing
Prepare payment packages and quarterly client deliverables
Work with client and states to file or resolve disputed rebate units
Perform analysis of script level data if necessary to resolve a dispute or potential dispute
Attend internal training sessions to improve Government Contracting and rebating knowledge
Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration strongly preferred; or relevant work experience in the field of accounting and finance.
2 plus years of related experience managing and processing data.
Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry, strongly preferred.
Ability to continually build detailed subject matter expertise in Government Contracting Compliance.
Must be able to comprehend and/or learn complex government compliance. requirements and retain, build upon and apply this knowledge on a daily basis.
Must have a high degree of analytical skills.
Experience working in mandated deadline environment.
Effective management of multiple client assignments.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
High accuracy rate and attention to detail.
Ability to work with software packages, Excel (required), and Word.
Ability to produce client-ready deliverables to a high-level professional clientele.
Ability to understand and deal with large amounts of data.
Ability to deliver required periodic results with a high degree of accuracy and minimal management review.
Prior government calculations and claims processing experience in the pharma industry and/or accounting or pharm tech experience highly preferred.
