micro services based P latform a s a S ervice
(PaaS). CNE provides numerous enclave services to facilitate fully
automated deployments of Cloud Native software into Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
(OCI). GBU application teams require a
highly reliable and highly elastic platform to deliver high margin, S oftware
a s a S ervice (SaaS) applications to delight its customers and maximize
profit margins. The CNE platform is newly built from the ground up and designed
for security, upgradability, scalability, and flexibility to meet the demands
of modern, forward-looking SaaS applications serving Oracle’s Communications,
Construction & Engineering, Financial Services, Health Sciences,
Hospitality, Retail, and Utilities Global Business Units.

Seeking a senior developer to contribute to the full
development lifecycle of a Cloud Native micro-service platform and related
services. Candidate must have a
demonstrated track record of contributing to the successful achievement of
project objectives and a progression of increasing responsibilities.
Candidate will responsible for:
- Planning, designing, coding, documenting and
testing of new Oracle Cloud Native services used by multiple Oracle SAAS
- Review and approve the work products of other
- Develop software using Agile methodologies
and participate a member of scrum development team
- Supporting the operation of the MSP using
DevOps methodologies for the rapid introduction to production of new services
and operational enhancements
- Technical thought leadership and mentoring of
A BS, MS degree or equivalent relevant experience required.
A minimum of ten years software development experience required.
Technical lead experience with development, test, andsupport teams in an open source environment
Strong networking knowledge
Development experience with Python, Bash, or Groovy
Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins andGitLab
Experience with Docker and containerization methods
Experience with SCM tools and best practices
Agile methodology knowledge
Agile software development experience
Knowledge of Java or C
Knowledge of virtualization concepts, cloud andorchestration, Kubernetes
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
