Overlay sales personnel providing specialist product expertise to the sales force.
Partners with Account, Technology, and Application sales representatives to qualify and close new business on Oracle solutions. Provides specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales representatives territory. Interacts with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market. Manages solution opportunities to obtain appropriate and necessary resources for all qualified opportunities. Leads teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility. Presents/demonstrates solution to high level clients and industry conference attendees. May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions. Builds and maintains a network and up to date specific industry or product knowledge.
Subject matter expertise in industry/product space. Knowledge of key industry leaders and management. Knowledge of Oracle competition. Presentation and product demonstration experience. Previous consultative selling experience preferred. Excellent communication, negotiating, and closing skills with prospects and customers. Travel may be needed. BA/BS degree in related field.

Executive Director, Banking Strategy and Transformation

The Oracle Cloud Applications organization has an immediateopening for an Executive Director of Banking Strategy and Transformation. This new role is positioned to take the OracleCloud message into the Banking marketplace, directly to the C-suite like neverbefore.
As the Executive Director, you will have worked previouslyin a Banking organization and accumulated robust experience and knowledge onkey industry issues, including trends, regulations, and the industry landscape. You will understand industry regulation and governmentissues, particularly as it relates to organizational requirements to leveragecloud capabilities including data, privacy and compliance requirements. You will also have developed an understandingof the industry value chains in banking environments, and the core processes.
Additionally, you will have at least a capability-levelknowledge of the information systems and technology capabilities typically usedto drive the core business and organizational processes in Banking, and havegained experience in a transformation program that involved in whole or inpart, a technology transformation to the cloud.
This person will act both individually and viainfluence-leadership to coordinate Oracle resources virtually across boundariesto shape Oracle s voice to executive audiences at Banking organizations. This person engages with customers directlyand regularly through sales opportunities to deliver industry-relevantmessaging and ensure that our selling and technical teams capture andcommunicate the full value of enterprise Oracle s Cloud business applications andeffectively shape that value in terms that leaders in Banking recognize andunderstand. This person will be seen as credible by ourBanking customers and seen internally as a thought leader who can bringindustry-relevant and thought-provoking messaging in order to positioninstitutional-relevant outcomes that will be powered by Oracle s industry-leadingcloud applications portfolio, including customer (student, alumni, network andcommunity) engagement and experience, human capital management, ERP andfinancials, supply chain management, enterprise planning, etc.
In addition to building close relationships with OracleSales leadership and sales teams, it will be the responsibility of this personto partner and engage with key internal Oracle stakeholder groups, such asProduct Marketing, Product Development, Solution Engineering, and Oracle Consultingto shape our company messages, products, and delivery with a Banking point ofview that s differentiated in the marketplace.
This role should expect travel commensurate with approximately50%-75% customer facing time.

Demonstrated Banking industry knowledge:
o Industry-specific issues and current trends
o Top management concerns
o Industry-specific value chains and key business processes
o Capability-level understanding of common industry-specific technology and information systems
- Experience; 5 years of direct experience in one or more Banking organizations. Additionally, we will consider candidates with management consulting experience and/or technology provider business development / sales experience serving Banking organizations at a strategic level.
