Job Description

JOB TITLE: Onboarding Program Manager


Our goal is to build a culture that is fanatical about ensuring clients are successful when leveraging Enterprise Payments (EP) treasury products and solutions. The Client Success team is responsible for onboarding and servicing EP clients in the most efficient and client-centric manner and by maintaining a lens on continuous improvement. The ultimate outcome is to ensure clients are successful in achieving the value they expected by doing business with us, and become advocates of KeyBank in the process.

The Onboarding Program Manager is a dynamic role which owns the end-to-end onboarding experience for the client. They are the main contact and program manager from KeyBank, leading the clients through the post-sales experience to ensure clients are quickly and effectively using EP s products and services. Onboarding events can range in size and complexity, and the Onboarding Program Manager will be expected to actively manage multiple oboarding events at a time in various stages of completion. The Onboarding Program Manager will work closely with clients, FinTech partners, sales, and back office support teams to ensure successful and timely implementations.


  • Responsible for assigned onboarding packages, including completion of agreements, configuration of services, training and initial use of services.

  • Lead meetings with stakeholders, including sales team members, clients/users, vendor representatives and other internal or external partners, clearly understanding and articulating the priorities, objectives and expectations to meet the clients needs.

  • Will develop expertise in both products and each industries unique needs and requirements

  • Create material to support the onboarding events, maintain transparency for stakeholders and manage stakeholder expectations.

  • Develop, monitor and report on KPIs to ensure clients are receiving best-in-class client experience and business development objectives are met.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for product implementation and configuration questions or issues.

  • Be an internal advocate for client needs and solve potential roadblocks to successful implementation of client services.

  • Adhere to all Risk policies and procedures.

  • Initiate and conduct necessary research that may need to be done in conjunction with onboarding packages.

  • Limited travel required.


  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience; treasury or banking experience preferred

  • Possess strong project management, problem solving, critical thinking, and written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated application of those skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and client facing skills, driving an exceptional client experience

  • Highly effective working independently with little supervision and comfortable making difficult decisions

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to set priorities and handle difficult situations while maintaining strong personal relationships

  • Self-motivated with ability to participate effectively in a highly collaborative work team environment

  • High technical aptitude and attention to detail with strong follow through

  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a commitment and willingness to strive toward achieving company goals.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project


  • Project Management or Business Analyst experience

  • Experience with Cash Management products

  • Handle complex situations and make decisions independently
