Oracle AVP, Hospitality Sales Director in Broomfield, Colorado

Overall responsibility for the regions sales, third party alliances, and customer satisfaction. Develops and implements a comprehensive strategy that maximizes Oracle's opportunities across all products and product lines.

Manages and develops a team of sales representatives including recruiting, hiring, and training new reps on the Oracle sales process. May manage a Regional Manager or Branch Manager. Sells and promotes the sales of Oracle products to customers including negotiating price, other concessions and terms and conditions of the sale. Participates in strategic and tactical planning for the division. Builds working relationships with license, consulting and education field managers in the respective territory to develop joint account plans. Develops and execute a territory plan to maximize revenue. Generates and achieves monthly territory forecasts, and accurately predicts revenue on a monthly basis. Manages escalation. Conducts weekly progress meetings with sales team.

Directs and ensures the implementation of operational policies through subordinate managers. Interacts internally and externally with executive management involving negotiation of difficult matters to influence policy. Functional expertise and broad company knowledge.

The Hospitality Global Business Unit is seeking a salesexecutive that has experience successfully managing a high-performing salesteam within the hospitality industry. This role will be responsible forbuilding, developing and managing a team of sales representatives landing hotelaccounts coast to coast in the US and Canada.

Specific Responsibilities;

Develop plans and strategies for developing businessand achieving the company s sales goals

Create a culture of success and ongoing business andgoal achievement

Manage the sales teams, operations and resources todeliver profitable growth

Manage the use of budgets

Define optimal sales force structure

Hire and develop sales staff

Become known as an employer of choice and a salesforce that top sales people want to join

Define sales processes that drive desired salesoutcomes and identify improvements where and when required

Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting

Compile information and data related to customerand prospect interactions

Monitor customer, market and competitor activity andprovide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions

Work closely with the marketing function to establishsuccessful support, channel and partner programs

Managementof the Sales Executive s key opportunities as they work through sales cycle andprocesses to ensure we are working to convert and close key business.

Oversight,planning and review of the pipeline and key initiatives with each SalesExecutive.

Escalationmanagement as needed to address issues in conjunction with Sales Executives.

Travel50-60% of time with Sales Reps to develop territory business and strategy.

DevelopClient relationships at various levels in their organization form end user tomiddle managers to C-Level.

Relevant Experience;
