Job Description

As

the Marketing Insights Consultant, you will be one of the rock-star heroes

who make the Oracle Data Cloud an indispensable part of the day-to-day

marketing efforts of the biggest and most innovative brands in the

world. You will partner closely with our Go-to Market account teams,

Client Analytics and R&D Science teams across the organization to deliver

Insights-Driven Workshops directly or by leading through others.

Ultimately,

you will tell stories using data to help inform audience strategy and creative

insights across a variety of clients. You will present insights and

best practices to marketers and their agency partners as well as advise

internal go-to-market teams on best practices. As a part of the role you may

design, develop and program methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and

analyze unstructured, diverse “big data” sources to generate actionable

insights and solutions for client services and product enhancement.

You

will participate directly in many of the bigger, more complex client

meetings. You will also play a key role in creating and maintaining

a “center of excellence” function and assists in training colleagues in Client

Analytics and Solutions (account management) how to develop and deliver

analyses that they generate leveraging Insight modules and automation tools

that you will help influence and innovate. As a center of excellence

function you will help drive our team’s overall strategy and build a robust

pipeline of future Insight Workshop engagements.

It

advertising, marketing and digital media, and can thrive in a dynamic,

fast-paced and evolving environment that is highly matrixed where collaboration

and getting things done through others are keys to success.

Primary Responsibilities:

BUSINESS INSIGHTS – Identifies meaningful insights from

large data and metadata sources; interprets and communicates insights and

findings from analysis and experiments to Go-to-Market account teams, various

internal stakeholders and the client.

PRESENTATION – Presents Insight Workshop findings

using effective storytelling techniques with actionable marketing insights

derived from analysis of big data. Strong presentation skills a must

– you need to be able to command attention across small to large client and

advertising agency audiences. You will also coach others on how to

bet present Insight Workshops.

CLIENT TRAVEL – Will be required to travel to

client presentations ranging from 25 to50% travel. Travel typically planned

a few weeks in advance.

VERTICAL EXPERTISE – Serve as an authority on select

industry verticals including Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), Retail,

Restaurants, Automotive, Media & Entertainment, Tech/Telco, and Financial

Services. The more experience across several verticals a major plus

with FMCG, Retail and Automotive being the most relevant.

ODC PRODUCT EXPERTISE – Be a highly knowledgeable

expert on all key ODC product offerings and how to support product

recommendations to clients driven by data and insights with sales acceleration

as the key outcome.

PROBLEM SOLVING – Largely self-directed and able to

solve problems in robust and creative ways while demonstrating solid verbal,

interpersonal and written communication skills. Energized by working in an

environment with a significant number of unknowns – both technically and

functionally.

INTERNAL LIAISING –Interacts with Go-to-Market,

Client Analytics and Industry Research, and Data Science R&D teams to

identify questions and issues for data analysis, insights and

experiments. Influencing and getting work done through others across

teams is a critical skill set for this role.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

STRATEGIC APPROACH: Critical thinking to separate

signal from noise. Creative thinking to solve for roadblocks. methodical,

disciplined, and focused in executing toward specific outcomes

TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE: 5 years of experience in Business

Intelligence / Strategy, Data Science, Quant Analysis or similar related

experience with a passion and skill for taking these learnings out to

clients. Data visualization expertise a must – you must be able to

tell visually appealing stories with MS Power Point and be fluent working with

MS Excel. Experience with visualization toolsets like tableau a plus.

CUSTOMER FOCUS: Be a key extension of our

Go-to-Market team. Our data, insights and recommendations have

proven to accelerate sales and deepen our client engagements. We

must maintain and build on this strong track record.

ATHLETICISM: Speaks both marketing & tech

(martech and adtech specifically). Excitement & eagerness to

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.

As a Senior Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. Acts as a technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products. Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional client relationships.

Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 5 years relevant computer applications or database/tools. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Through knowledge of system and application design. Strong verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments. Ability to travel as needed. BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable.
