Oracle Principal Technical Program Manager in Broomfield, Colorado

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product.

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 5 years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.

The Usage Analytics Team is responsible for providing insights through deep analytics and driving actions to increase usage in Oracle s rapidly growing cloud business. This role is responsible for providing actionable insights and business recommendations derived from data that spans all aspects of the cloud, from internal metrics to market-wide perspectives. The ideal candidate will have outstanding analytical skills, excellent business acumen, and superb communication skills. Deep expertise in analyzing large datasets and a proven track-record of delivering results in fast-paced environments are additional skills and experiences needed for success in this role. /This role is located in Seattle, WA./

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver actionable insights to executive leadership to increase usage on OCI.

  • Derive statistically significant correlations between actionable, measurable KPIs and consumption of services on OCI platform.

  • Communicate clearly and succinctly insights and actions derived from analyses to a variety of audiences and forums; from presentations to executive leadership to standardized reporting.

  • Partner with Data Warehouse organization to standardize and automate reporting

Qualifications:

  • 7 years of experience in data management or software development

  • Expertise in SQL and Excel mandatory, other languages a plus

  • Degree in data science or related subject; Master of Business Administration preferred

  • Cloud experience

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; experience presenting to executive audiences

  • Project management skills to lead projects and generate clarity with cross-functional teams
