Development and implementation of business plans, marketing strategy, and forecasts for a product/service or vertical market.

As a product analyst you will participate in every stage of the product life cycle to ensure product meets the needs of users. Drive the implementation of programs in support of the marketing strategy, business plans, and forecasts for assigned product lines. Maintains current status of customer specifications for existing and future products. Identify, evaluate, and recommend marketing opportunities in support of product line objectives. Drive product functionality delivering high quality product documentation. Lead products through scheduled release assisting others to manage commitments and resources. Measure and report progress and review deliverables.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Demonstrated product/project management experience. Product Marketing Manager / Specialist

The Global IT Marketing Communicationsteam is looking for a high energy, experienced product marketing specialist todevelop and execute a product marketing practice in Global IT.

Global IT provides products and services toenable Oracle s 160,000 employees worldwide. Global IT is responsible for the employee collaboration tools - WebEx,Otube, digital signage, and telephony, and employee compute services - laptops,mobile devices, mobile security, headsets, in addition to running the enterprisenetwork, providing field and remote support, and other critical ITfunctions.

Adoption of these services isimportant and it s time for a formal product marketing program to increase thesuccess of product launches, ongoing product adoption, and compliance, and toshape and support the Global IT brand across all products. This role will work closely with the variousproduct teams and the support organization to create, manage and executemarketing plans to Oracle end users and other audiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drivebrand awareness for Global IT. Be partof the development of the brand, as well as the creation and maintenance of thecollateral to market the brand to internal and external audiences.

  • Develop productmarketing plans to differentiate and increase adoption of Global IT productsand services to internal Oracle audiences in almost every country on the planet.

  • Lead and executesuccessful campaigns to change end user behavior for products and services rangingfrom collaboration and productivity to EOL and compliance.

  • Partner withother Global IT organizations, like development teams and the supportorganization, to implement and measure the success of the product marketingplan.

  • Work with productorganizations to set marketing goals, KPIs and targets, and develop a plan andappropriate marketing mix to meet the strategic objectives.

  • Understand marketsegmentation and driving persona-based messaging and solution positioning in avariety of media.

  • Experienceusing a variety of approaches, channels and techniques to effectively amplifyawareness and change behaviors resulting in higher adoption.

  • Exploreopportunities with Oracle Marketing Cloud (Eloqua) and other marketingautomation.

  • Measureand improve adoption and marketing approaches based on data.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Thisis a high-visibility, dynamic role that will elevate your product marketingskills to a new level. You should be able to think out-of-the-box and bringcreative ideas to the table. You will be working, often leading, cross-orgteams for successful global execution of IT products, so we are looking for a marketerthat can demonstrate strong leadership with excellent communication andteam-building skills.

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS

  • Bachelor degree with 6 years in high-tech product marketing roles. Experience marketing internal IT products and services and MBA a plus.

  • Ability to work across teams (engineering, product management, communications, and support) to ensure we create the strategies and achieve the objectives for each IT product.

  • Ability to communicate technical product information in a simplified and concise manner for various audiences.

  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and spoken and excellent story-telling skills. We believe effective story-tellers make excellent product marketers. Powerpoint skills are a must.

  • Creative thinker, ability to multi-task, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, positive attitude, energetic, team player.

  • Demonstrated bias for action and driving results, with understanding that activity alone does not equal results.

  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Superb analytical, organizational and execution skills.
