The Blockchain developer will deliver innovative business consulting, business process design, systems integration and application design; will also apply technical skills in an internal or external customer billable services and implementation environment.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • programming skills: Java, C++, Go, Python, JavaScript / ES6, Node.js, Truffle, Embark, RESTful APIs, Solidity (JavaScript-based), Eris (Monax), Web3

  • algorithms, data structures, cryptography and data security, decentralized technologies, understanding asymmetric (pub/priv key), symmetric, hash functions, encryption/signatures

  • distributed systems and algorithms (Gossip, Membership, and Grids, P2P, Key-Value Stores, Timing and Ordering, Paxos)

  • distributed storage, like RDBMS or NoSQL

  • Blockchain concepts: block chain, transactions, proof of work, Understanding of ledgers, consensus methods, blockchains, and cryptocurrencies in general

  • Blockchain platforms: Hyperledger, Ethereum, Stellar, Ripple, etc.

  • Blockchain hosting: IBM Blockchain, Microsoft Azure Blockchain

  • Agile methods

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • over 2 years of experience as Blockchain Developer
