Role main objective :
Assessing customer creditworthiness to minimize risk and ensure AR and revenue integrity, within the confines of the global processes and procedures. Partners with the lines of business to offer correct, complete and timely information.
Evaluates customer creditworthiness through the use of global risk rating policies and procedures, tools and models
Perform thorough analysis of all internal and external information sources regarding customers, to make risk management decisions accordingly.
Reviews customer’s account information to ensure data accuracy.
Responsible for meeting individual objectives and performing to established standards.
Participating actively to team’s objectives being met within the agreed upon service level agreements.
Takes ownership for risk management decisions, balancing the needs of the different lines of business with Oracle’s risk management appetite.
Interacts with internal customers via phone or email in a professional manner, within the agreed upon service level agreement and in line with internal procedures. Uses appropriate communication to ensure Oracle’s risk management metrics are met.
Clarifies and understands all incoming requests. Escalates issues to his/her manager in a timely manner, as to ensure fulfilment of department’s KPI’s, according to policies and procedures.
Collaborates with other departments, as needed, to meet Credit KPIs and resolve all incoming requests. Is responsible for following up with said departments to ensure requests are brought to resolutions
Knows and understands all policies, processes and procedures and can and does bring forth opportunities for process efficiencies and improving performance and results.
Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and provides assistance to internal and external audit teams.
In accordance with our organization’s scope and role, fulfills any other task as assigned by his/her direct manager.
Experience: Financial analysis or equivalent experience minimum 6-12 months.
Formal training: Undergraduate degree, preferably from a business school.
Proficient written and oral command of the English language
Demonstrated ability to convey information and opinions in a persuasive manner appropriate to the audience
Organized and detail oriented
Computer skills (i.e. MS Word, Excel, Adobe, PowerPoint and Oracle applications)
Influencing and negotiation abilities
Ability to work in teams and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver on shared objectives
Understands priorities and can organize his/her time accordingly
Quick to recognize situations where change is needed and skilled at driving change
Flexibility in work schedule, including availability during evenings, weekends and major holidays
Able to understand complex and very dynamic processes, particularly in the Credit & Collections field
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Timely cash collection of customer accounts, assessing credit worthiness, minimizing bad debts and ensuring contract compliance and/or recommending legal action.
You will assist in the collection, management, and resolution of outstanding invoices from past due accounts. Collect overpayments from current and former employees. Work with departmental managers to eliminate root cause of overpayment. Interfaces with sales support, accounts receivable, and directly with the customer to determine the ability to pay, communicate contractual specifications, and enforce remedies in reconciling accounts. Manage portfolio of accounts including delinquency, write-offs, credit memos, and additional interest. Conducts pre-sale credit risk evaluation, prepares recommendations, and makes credit approval decisions on new accounts. Recognizes deteriorating credit situations recommending and implementing solutions. Prepares collection reports.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. Strong attention to detail. Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and analytical communication skills. 2 year experience in contracts, finance, leasing, or equivalent. BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
