We are looking for a passionate Front-End Web Developer to join our
Development team supporting Oracle Talent Advisory global Operations. In this role, you
will work on various projects that will involve development of new websites for
Oracle’s hiring campaigns and new applications to sustain the recruitment
Develop new user-facing features
Work with back-end developers and system ownersto improve usability
Build reusable code and libraries for future use
Design mobile-based features
Optimize applications for maximum speed andscalability
Help back-end developers with coding andtroubleshooting
Create mockups and prototypes
WorkExperience & Job Specific Competencies
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalenttechnical degree with at least 2 years of work experience;
Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3
Knowledge of preprocessors for CSS (SASS or less).
Knowledge of usability and accessibility principles,web security, SEO.
Up to date with latest browser supportedfeatures.
Knowledge in working with SPA - MVC / MVVMlibraries such as Angular, React or Knockout.
Experience with a Task Runner such as Grunt orGulp
Knowledgeof Web Services – Oracle Weblogic Server or any Application Server
Knowledge of image authoring tools, to be ableto crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image.
Good understanding of code versioning tools, GIT
Attention to detail and accuracy;
Able to maintain absolute discretion regardingconfidential and / or sensitive information;
Good verbal and written communication skills,fluent English;
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 1 year of software engineering or related experience.
