IBM Security Consultant- IT Information & Risk (French speaker) in BUCHAREST, Romania

Job Description

This role helps clients understand key security and privacy issues, risks, exposures and vulnerabilities using workshops and assessments and develop security and privacy programs to meet client's business needs. They also architect secure solutions to address specific security and privacy requirements.

The consultant focuses on individual/team objectives and development of professional effectiveness, being responsible of:

  • controls on a regular basis with the reports of the IAM tool (Identify Access Management)

  • Send dunning notices

  • Follow-up, create dashboards

  • Check coverage of controls

  • Propose enhancements

  • Do technical controls

  • Check Sailpoint tool, coordinate the requests, check the not validated accounts before suppress


Professional knowledge related to incumbent's position, team, and department.

Requires ability to absorb professional knowledge quickly and develop skills.


Draw upon professional concepts to collaborate with others to carry out assigned duties.

Negotiation is required.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 1 year of previous experience in IT Security

  • good knowledge of IT Security (methodologies/ tools/ principles)

  • Analysis and problem-solving skills.

  • Good organization & administrative skills.

  • Ability to manage own workload.

  • Excellent collaborator and communicator.

  • Ability to work with all levels of the business - PMs, DPEs and Partners.

  • Ability to follow processes.

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • at least 3 years of previous experience
