IBM Business Support Operations, Lenovo Focal Role for Europe & MEA in BUDAPEST, Hungary

Job Description

Objective of the job:

Commercial Financing Business Support Operation EMEA Lenovo Focal person manages the communication with Lenovo supplier in Europe & MEA, act as first contact point and is responsible for smooth cooperation and communication with Lenovo Operations Team.

Responsibilities:

Main responsibilities involve communication and cooperation with Lenovo Operations team ensuring requests are addressed at timely manner; serves as focal point for CoF BSO team and regularly updates management and business on the business challenges as they arise.

CoF BSO EMEA Lenovo Focal:

  • develops and maintains strong working relationships with Lenovo operations team at various level of the organization and serves as focal point for supplier inquiries, requests, and complaints;

  • is responsible for Lenovo reporting on daily/weekly/monthly/ quarterly basis;

  • organizes and attends on-site meetings, regularly scheduled and ad-hoc calls;

  • works together effectively with Account Specialist Teams, Program Managers, CoF BSO Management, Global and Europe Lenovo business relationship managers;

  • operates proactively at all times.

Required skills, education and experience:

Required education level: Bachelor’s Degree (Accounting/ Finance, Business/ Management preferred)

  • Language: English – Fluent

  • Excellent communication skills; proactive approach

  • Familiarity with basic financial terms

  • Desire to interact with customers over the phone and via e-mail on a daily basis

  • Being a team player and great cross cultural/ functional collaborator

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • English: Fluent

  • Excellent communication skills; proactive approach

  • Familiarity with basic financial terms
