As an HR Services Associate, you will be responsible for the execution of transactional customer facing duties within the talent acquisition and administration work streams within HR Services.

Your main duties:

  • Process new hires, promotions, employee status changes, and other employee lifecycle events in Eaton systems

  • Process pay changes and HR documents including: promotions/demotions/transfers, ad hoc wage/salary changes,

  • Schedule interviews

  • Ensure that all necessary documents and approvals have been received and information is entered accurate

  • Resolve errors related to job or employee information

  • Coordinate data entry into third party systems where not automated

  • Answer employee’s queries about HR-related issues

  • Arrange travel accommodations and process expense forms

  • Create HR process documentation

  • Commit and deliver process improvements to keep processes optimized

  • Prepare reports

  • Support global mobility process

QualificationsPosition Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

  • 0-2 years HR experience

  • Ability to work in teams

  • Adaptable and flexible

  • Customer service orientation

  • Ability to prioritize and multitask

  • Acts honestly

  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  • Phone, email and in-person communication skills

  • Organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects

  • Interpersonal and communication skills Problem-solving attitude

  • Basic Excel knowledge

Preferred:

  • Understanding of financial metrics

  • Experience with developing and deploying site-wide training plans

  • Knowledge of human resource management and other talent systems

  • Experience with Microsoft applications

  • Experience working with internet based applications

  • Bachelor’s degree with Human Resources focus
