Eaton Corporation Supplier Development Analyst in Budapest, Hungary

Eaton’s EMEA BSC was established in 2015. Our Business Service Center site employs around 600 people. Our mission is to provide high value and services to support internal and external customers across Eaton’s Electrical, Hydraulics, and corporate functions in EMEA.

As a Supplier Development Analyst you will support Eaton production plants with supplier Quality related processes (complaint, cost recovery, problem solving) in the Electrical Sector’s EMEA manufacturing sites.

You will make difference by:

  • Daily monitoring the open supplier quality issues in assigned plants

  • Proactively driving supplier for implementation of corrective actions through standardized process (8D) within assigned time

  • Sharing Eaton processes through the Eaton plants and suppliers

  • Checking if there are new supplier issues from the plant (through quality systems – Wisper, SAP)

  • Contacting suppliers and initiating root cause investigation (following 8D problem solving tool)

  • Holding monthly/weekly conference calls with Eaton production plant to review progress and issues

  • Analyzing root causes and drive for improvement


Your experience matters:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering is preferred)

  • Fluent language knowledge of English (French/German would be a plus)

  • 2-3 years of experience in production / technical area (any commodity)

  • Experience as a Quality technician (Quality engineer is preferred)

  • Experience with Suppliers/Customers as a Quality engineer

  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills

  • Knowledge of MS Office

  • Knowledge of problem solving tools (industry standards: 8D, A3, ishikawa, 5Why)
