Job Description

Purpose of the job:

The training coordinator (TC) coordinates the trainings provided for the Accounts Payable Center (APC) employee population, newcomer education at onboarding, manager reporting, training budget allocation and follow up, participates training related global calls and projects, holds few local trainings, maintains training list and related communication. As communication and program coordinator facilitates APC events, organization changes announcements, etc

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains strong relationship with HR Campus trainers, Newstarter trainers, Training Focal Points and Global Training contacts.

  • Ensures that all relevant information on trainings are up-to-date, finds new training possibilities within IBM that support people development.

  • Handles course registration, reschedules, enrollments, attendances and cancellations taking into consideration successor plan defined by the management.

  • Facilitates training-arrangements by booking rooms and assets, sending out invitations, gathers feedbacks on trainings whenever requested.

  • Makes internal IBM trainings supporting project team and management whenever requested ad hoc or regular.

  • Handles training budget allocation, follows up and reports status to management regularly.

  • Participates in training related global and local calls, takes voluntary ownership of selected projects.

  • Is responsible for APC team internal communication on all APC events, organizational changes announcements, trainings and other information of general interest closely working with the Center lead

  • Organizes all APC events, contacts suppliers, coordinates budget, ensures regular and timely promotion to achieve participation

  • Coordinates all APC engagement events/project end to end

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Fluent English (both oral and written)

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Good presentation and communication skills

  • Display a level of enthusiasm for trainings in general and inspire others to take part
