IBM Voice Operator - 2nd Level Support in BUDAPEST, Hungary

Job Description

Within the IBM Client Innovation Centre our professionals provide high level engineering service and ensure the operation of business-critical IT systems of different clients. We are looking for candidates for VoIP infrastructure, 2nd level service operation, who will be responsible for the operation of VoIP products from different vendors (Unify, Avaya, Cisco) all over the world. 2nd level team members cover 24/7 service.


  • Monitoring of Unify/Avaya/Cisco VoIP infrastructure

  • Opening and handling of incidents

  • Troubleshooting of VoIP impairments and outages, executing changes, proactive investigation, problem management

  • Communicating with local contacts, providers and network engineering

  • Solve VoIP related problems based on well-defined processes and checklists as fast as possible

Qualifications :

  • Ability and willingness to learn new technologies, methodologies

  • English: Intermediate level (spoken and written)

  • Customer oriented personality

  • Self-motivation in handling and solving problems

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Ability to work in 24/7 shifts (12 hours)

  • Basic experience in troubleshooting

  • 1-3 years of experience operating any VoIP products

  • CCNA certificate is an advantage

  • Clean criminal record (Erkölcsi bizonyítvány)

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • CCNA certification

  • Fluency in Hungarian language
