Deloitte Discovery Intern - Audit - Upstate New York, Summer 2019 in Buffalo, New York

If you re looking to gain first-hand exposure to the professional services industry, learn new business skills and deepen your knowledge of your field of interest, Deloitte s Discovery Internship Program may be a great fit for you. During this eight-week long rotational experience, you ll have the opportunity to foster business relationships with Deloitte professionals and acquire the critical and soft skills needed to succeed in the modern workplace and global marketplace.

Work you ll do

As a Discovery Program intern, you ll gain business experience through hands-on learning and projects by rotating through two practices within Deloitte. During the internship, you ll also build foundational knowledge, learn to articulate your ideas clearly, and develop strong relationships through training, mentorship, and ongoing feedback.

The team

During the internship program, you ll meet and work with many talented Deloitte professionals whom work in various areas of our client service business including Audit, Advisory and Tax.

Qualifications

Required:

Pursing a Bachelor degree in a business, accounting, technology or related field (sophomore or junior standing)

Strong academic credentials (minimum GPA of 3.3)

Demonstrated problem solving skills

Effective interpersonal and communication skills; adaptive to change, creativity & self-confidence; leadership qualities; team-oriented and collaborative
