The Home Equity Pricing Analyst provides strategic and analytical support to the Home Equity Originations Product Manager with respect to pricing, fees, promotions, and product profitability to strategically grow the business and improve shareholder value.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Conducts routine strategic pricing reviews by product/multiple product attributes, utilizing industry data and price optimization models to make informed, strategic pricing decisions to improve profitability and market position.
Partners with third party vendors, establishing solid, seamless relationships
Develops, launches and maintains pricing and fee processes necessary to maintain and grow the business
Support build-out of promotional pricing scenarios/tactics
Business report trending
Consolidate, compare and report out on competitor products
Serve a critical role in the planning and forecasting process
Provide additional ad hoc pricing, product and analytical support as required
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related Business field
Internship and/or job experience at a financial institution, including bank or brokerage house
A working knowledge of Home Equity/banking products
Proven strong financial, analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze and resolve issues with limited direction
Team player who is willing to assist as needed to ensure that group deadlines are met and quality standards are achieved
Ability to manage time and multiple tasks effectively
Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong Microsoft excel skills preferred
