Oracle Client Partner - MFG in Burlington, Massachusetts

This director position is responsible for managing business operations and resources of a given practice that can be defined by industry, service line, technology center, specialty area or region. Responsible for managing the three main pillars of a practice: people management, portfolio/delivery management and sales enablement. Has profit and loss responsibility or financial/expense management of practice.

Accountable for operational/financial metrics and overall business results of practice. Responsible for maintaining strategic direction, ensuring profitable growth of the practice, quality of consulting delivery, and maintaining customer referenceability. Develops strategy and plans to successfully implement operational policies and achieve business objectives. Accountable for managing and growing a significant revenue stream and customer base. Typically manages multiple first line managers and/or senior level individual contributors. Resolves staffing issue in complex engagements. May serve as advisor or project sponsor role for moderately complex engagements.

10 years of experience relevant to this position including 5 years of consulting experience and 2 years of project management leadership experience. Direct line Management experience including project, people, customer, financial management preferred. Product, technology or industry expertise relevant to the practice focus. Ability to develop and maintain relationships at the executive level. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Ability to travel as needed.

The Opportunity

In the Client Partner position, you will play a pivotal role in Oracle Consulting s transformation as the ambassador to the top Oracle Consulting Services (OCS) accounts. You will serve in one of the few roles across Oracle responsible for evangelizing and delivering Oracle s entire application suite of ERP, HCM, and CX.

This unique opportunity requires extensive consulting, sales, and delivery experience in the SaaS application space to address client needs. You will also require deep industry expertise to understand client challenges, quantify the opportunity value, and design solutions to solve the business need. You will partner with Practice Leads, Customer Advocacy, Delivery Leads, and Oracle s Application Sales team to accelerate the growth of the practice and exceed client expectations.

A Day in the Life

This role supports both new and existing Manufacturing & Diversified Industry accounts. A key portion of the role will focus on growing install base accounts and fostering a book of business with a revenue backlog. As Client Partner, you will also serve as an Executive Sponsor for key accounts and handle delivery escalations when needed.

In this role, you will generate demand for Oracle's service offering, develop opportunity execution plans, identify key resources for staffing, and establish yourself as the client s trusted advisor. You will own the consulting business for a set of top accounts and operate in an extremely entrepreneurial manner. Territory planning, interlock with the Application Sales team, account development, and lead generation are all critical components to success.


This is a senior level, pursuit leadership role for a seasoned professional with varied career experiences including a combination of at least 10-15 years of ERP/HCM/CRM Application Consulting, Solution Architecture, Delivery, and Sales experience with a strong track record of new account development, territory building, and quota performance in Oracle s Manufacturing & Diversified Industries. Deep industry experience is a mandatory requirement.
