The CEC development team is looking for a highly accomplished software engineer with experience adapting modern machine learning techniques combined with currently available engines to develop new subsystems that can produce commercially valuable results in real time at internet data volumes. This system will manage vast quantities of content for some of the largest enterprises in the world providing unprecedented data analysis and discovery opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical leadership role in defining and implementing multiple intelligent subsystems to:

oClassify, categorize, find patterns and clusters within, and identify areas of commonality throughout marketing text and image content repositories

oAnalyze multiple activity metric streams

oLeverage external data repositories of user activity and profiles to recommend opportunities for greater personalized experiences

Participate in all aspects of the solution development lifecycle: architect, design, development and test

Research relevant tools and methodologies and implement proofs of concept

Work collaboratively with both CEC product development teams on subsystem integrations as well as with broader Oracle product teams as suppliers and consumers of data

Guide and leverage other data engineers

Deliver reliable and valuable solutions repeatedly on a periodic release cadence

Provide production level support for delivered solutions

Act as the development group s technical liaison into machine learning and related new technologies

Adopt Oracle agile development methodology and actively participate in boarder product evolution

Required Qualifications:

Advanced degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Computational Data Science, Machine Learning or related fields plus software development work experience with enterprise level systems

Experience solving real world problems leveraging modern artificial intelligence techniques:

oDeep Learning (neural networks, auto-coding)

oMachine Learning (feature extraction, model definition and tuning, prediction)

oNatural language processing (semantic, classification, similarity, correctness)

Tool set familiarity (development/scripting languages, various engines, scalable execution platforms)Experience working with enterprise level data sets and data mining techniques
