Oracle Project Manager 3 in Burlington, Massachusetts

Coordinates all aspects of internal information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery. Projects often involve network, server, or software implementation and upgrades, PC deployment and the like.

Coordinates work performed by IT staff and internal customers/partners by defining project specifications, performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments. Develops detailed project plans and manages all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Typically 5 years of project management, product design or related experience needed.

This role is for a Project Manager in the Order to Cash(O2C) Global Process Owner (GPO) organization. The GPO team providesstrategic direction, project leadership and process design for O2Cfunctions.

The primary responsibilities of this role are globalproject management and operational process support of Order to Cash functionsat Oracle. The candidate will apply international business experience whileleading and managing projects in compliance with local statutory regulations,as well as Oracle policies. Solutions are developed inpartnership with internal and external resources working across multipleecommerce platforms and strategies.

This candidate will execute according to schedule,identify roadblocks and update stakeholders as appropriate. They will provide strongcross-functional team leadership, pre and post-implementation support, changemanagement across organizations, detailed documentation, and process improvementthrough project stabilization. The person in this role will also be calledupon as a GPO team leader to support additional A/R initiatives, system testing,operational guidance and other projects as needed. They will coordinateactivities among cross-functional and cross-border teams, including third partiesand customer resources. They will identify opportunities to improve thecustomer experience. They will also be responsible for creating, maintainingand archiving detailed project documentation and decision history.

The candidate has an eCommerce or technical backgroundin Procurement, Payables or Receivables. They have prior experience withvarious electronic languages and protocols. They are a strong team leader witha proven track record in managing virtual teams. They demonstrate an understandingof the Quote-to-Cash lifecycle, have international business experience and anunderstanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Theideal candidate also has experience with Oracle Financials and/or OracleeBusiness Suite.

Other core competencies include strong problem solvingand analytical skills with a very high degree of attention to detail. Thecandidate must have strong written, oral and interpersonal communicationskills. They have demonstrated success in project management with the abilityto prioritize workloads while managing multiple global projects simultaneously.
