Title: Senior Automation Engineer

Position Summary:

Apply DevOps practices to ensure release of highestquality software products in Agile development lifecycle. Develop testframework/ automated tests - Mobile, Web applications and REST web services.Automate test infrastructure/ tools using shell scripting, python, groovy,java, ruby programming languages and container technologies like Docker. Responsiblefor logging, monitoring and coding quality tools. Work with AWS public cloud tools andservices. Attend daily stand-ups and participate in backlog grooming,production planning and retrospectives. Be part of on-call rotation to deploymobile apps, REST services in QA and production environment. Perform highavailability/ failure/ performance tests of tools and services.

Education

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, ComputerEngineering, or directly related field

Requirements

Minimum five years of automation experience, eitherin role offered or as a Software Quality Engineer. Must have experience with automatingRest APIs; developing performance tests; developing test automation frameworkand/or unit tests; and backlog grooming, product planning and retrospectives.Must have at least two years of experience with the followingtools/technologies: Java; J2EE Web application server Tomee; Ruby; Selenium2.0, Shell Scripting; Splunk; NewRelic and/or Graphite and/or AWS CloudWatch;CI/CD tools (e.g Jenkins); Rest API testing tools i.e. postman and/or paw;Puppet and/or Chef; and RabbitMQ and/or AWS SQS.
