The

Sales Development Representative (SDR) is an important member of our Sales and

Marketing organization, playing a critical role in the organization in uncovering and qualifying

leads by understanding the prospect’s business challenges and pre-qualifying

opportunities by phone and email contact.

Working

in collaboration with marketing, sales, and the partner channel, the SDR’s

primary objective is to deliver “Sales Ready” qualified leads to the sales team

that they support.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate new businessopportunities to ensure Dyn’s continued exponential growth in NorthAmerica.

  • Effectively interact with IT andbusiness decision makers via telephone and email to build relationshipsand acquire new business for assigned territory.

  • Partner with key members of thesales and marketing team to develop target lists, call strategies and coremessaging to ensure success.

  • Achieve assigned quota of “SalesReady” qualified leads.

  • Understand the sales process andbe able to overcome objections by genuinely caring & learning aboutthe prospects business needs and showing them the value that Dyn’sproducts can provide.

  • Perfect the ability to articulateand deliver prepared sales talks that describe Dyn products, services, andvalue in order to entice prospects to learn more about the solutions Dynoffers.

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly callvolumes, tele-qualification goals, and sales pipeline targets.

  • Maintain a prescribed cadence ofoutbound activity.

  • Learn and maintain a deepunderstanding of the business units products, technology and sales techniques.

  • Provide sales team with detailed callnotes on all tele-qualified leads.

  • Record all customer informationand maintain detailed tele-qualification records, in Salesforce.com, oneach lead worked.

  • Partner effectively withappropriate Account Representatives to schedule appointments with prospectivecustomers and pass qualified opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Professional, ambitious,determined, persistent and results oriented mind-set.

  • 2 years successfulsales or lead development experience.

  • Experience selling SaaS productspreferred.

  • 1-2 years of cold callingexperience preferred.

  • Demonstrated sales aptitude withrelentlessly high standards and the desire to proceed on with a salescareer.

  • Proficiency in the use of email,with strong written and verbal communications skills.

  • Positive attitude, team oriented,self-starter who can work independently as well as in a collaborativemanner to achieve team goals.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

The primary focus of a Business Development Consultant is to generate demand for Oracle solutions and services through a mix of inbound calls and outbound prospecting within an assigned territory or vertical

As a Telesales Business Development Representative you will act as the first contact for many prospects in Oracle business with inbound telemarketing calls. Qualifies Oracle prospects and produce quality leads for the Oracle Sales Force. Performs database and record keeping activities.

Ability to demonstrate time management, telesales skills and knowledge of Oracle products and services (training provided). Goal oriented individual with superior communication skills. Ability to complete individual goals as well as work in a team environment. Demonstrated ability to communicate using technical concepts. Working knowledge of Oracle products preferred. Desire for a long-term career in sales preferred. Two years relevant business experience preferred.
