Reporting to the HR Manager, in this role you will provide support in functional areas of human resources including but not limited to: recruitment and employment, personnel records, employee and/or labor relations, job evaluation, compensation management, benefits administration, organization development, training, and special projects. Also, you will assist in the development and implementation of human resources policies and procedures and their dissemination through employee booklets, communications, and/or meetings.

HR Generalist

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare or update employment records related to hiring, transferring, promoting, and terminating

  • Oversee hiring process, which includes coordinating job posts, reviewing resumes, and performing reference checks by implementing the organization’s recruiting strategy

  • Explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, and standards to new and existing employees: conducting training sessions and maintaining records of employee participation in all training and development programs

  • Address any employment relations issues, such as work complaints and overseeing engagement programs and other employee relations work. Participate and conduct disciplinary actions process

  • Develop human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information; recommend courses of action. Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends

  • Ensure that HR processes applied are complying with country legal requirements in the areas of employment and employment administration

  • Participate in developing department goals, objectives and systems. Assist in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to impact the continual improvements of the department and services performed

  • Participate in administrative staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars. Maintain company organization charts and the employee directory

  • Maintain human resource information system records and compile reports from the database

  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned

Qualifications

Are you?

  • Educated at bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution?

  • Coming with basic knowledge in HR/Administrative field?

  • Possessing the ability to understand, interpret and easily communicate and align policies and practices to the Eaton Philosophy & Values and Code of Ethics?

  • Able to demonstrate discretion and to work with sensitive and confidential materials?

  • Coming with general knowledge of employment laws and ability to apply legal concepts to real world situations?

  • A good communicator, with ability to work with people at multiple levels?

Ready to operate across a complex matrix organizational structure?

  • Able to prepare, analyze and interpret HR and operational analyses/reports?

  • Results-oriented?

  • Advanced level in English language?
