VEVRAA Federal Contractor
Responsible to evaluate and analyze excess, unproductive, and at risk inventory in all DC's. Based on analysis, negotiate with vendors, category managers, buyers, warehouses for appropriate action to eliminate inventory as well as negotiating with CM's for placement of long ad items into promotional activity. This position will also be responsible for the analysis and recommendations for slot optimization in all DC's as well as item life cycle administration
Bachelor's Degree (Required) Logistics
Supply Chain or other related fields or equivalent combination of education and experience.
(3) years Logistics, Inventory Control, Vendor Negotiations
Responsibilities and Essential Duties
Analyze excess, unproductive, obsolete and aged inventory and take appropriate actions to eliminate, including, but not limited to, negotiating with vendors, transferring product between DC?s, distributing to corporate stores.
Analysis of long ad product and negotiation with category managers for new promo placement.
Item life cycle administration and dispensation of item DWO (discontinued with inventory).
EOQ program management and administration.
Vendor compliance management and administration including COTC.
Inventory control process documentation, monitoring and auditing.
Inbound Routing Guide Documentation
Slot optimization in all DC?s including slotting recommendations based upon key performance indicators as well as slotting compliance based upon recommendations.
DC code date analysis, recommendations for change and compliance by DC and purchasing.
Knowledge, Skills Abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with various levels within the organization, including management, business areas and IT technical functions. Strong organization, prioritization, analytical and problem solving skills. Must be detail oriented and have good project management. Ability to provide training or guidance to end users; good presentation skills. Must have technical and business knowledge to resolve the complex questions and issues and have the ability to engage in projects with variety and complexity. Must have understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and Query tools including Cognos, Studio and EIS.
