As the Coordinator Interline Agreements you will manage a portfolio of Interline Agreements ensuring revenue and expense claims are justified and conform to the terms and conditions of the agreement.


  • Identify issues and business opportunities beneficial to CP relating to Interline Agreements and progress these opportunities for change within Commercial, Line of Business, Legal, Operations and Internal Audit departments so as to drive bottom line value to CP;

  • Provide expertise, insight and recommendations within CP in regards to Interline Agreements and their interpretation, application and participates in the negotiation and establishment of new agreements and in the re-negotiation of existing agreements.

  • Responsible for multi-year plan, accruals review and change, outlook changes, and corresponding variance analyses so as to ensure agreement financial activity is current within CP;

  • Review and validate on a monthly basis the revenue and expense data relating to Interline Agreements and authorizes within prescribed DOMA payment and billing to accounting for settlement;

  • Update IAM application, Business Objects, ECM and GIS with any agreement changes so as to ensure the collection of data required for the validating Interline expense and revenues is not adversely impacted;

  • Keep Interlines agreement database ECM current and up-to-date with new contracts, amendments, and any agreement related data required to support the interpretation and application of the agreement including car record details, rate escalations or Agreement Reviews (RVA);

  • Utilize systematic audits, reviews CP and 3rd party compliance with the portfolio of Interline agreements so as to identify revenue and expense recoveries. Documents all audits in ECM using the RVA process;

  • Identity issues and business opportunities beneficial to CP relating to the managed portfolio of Interline Agreements and with guidance and oversight from their manager progresses these opportunities with various department within CP e.g. Commercial, Legal, Operations, Service Design;

  • Responsible for understanding Interline SOX process and for ensuring role related activity is in compliance with SOX. Ensure that required information is available upon request by internal and external SOX auditors;

  • Provide factual expertise, advisory input, recommend and when required prescribe within CP with regards to Interline Agreements and their interpretation, application, and establishment of new agreements and in the re-negotiation of existing agreements supporting Corporate Strategic initiatives;

  • When required, working closely and with the guidance of Manager to prepare initial draft of Interline contracts that will form the basis for negotiation and implementation of any new or renewed Interline agreement;

  • Establish comprehensive, integrated and cross functional agreement management relationships with CP's Interline partners.


  • Post-Secondary Education or University Degree (Business or Finance);

  • 3 to 5 years relevant experience required;

  • SAP understanding;

  • Application expertise: BPC (Business Planning & Consolidation), Windows and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access). Intermediate to advanced capabilities with Excel;

  • Possess a strong attention to detail and accuracy;

  • Ability to prioritize and work under the pressure

  • Ability to set and meet deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment;

  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders;

  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills;

  • Strong project management and presentation skills;

  • Strong verbal and communication skills and ability to effectively communicate to all levels at CP;
