Canadian Pacific maintains many data management systems supporting on-line, off-line, and mobile connection methods. These systems are constructed for managing data between CP’s strategic and enterprise applications through common and shared data management services and processes. This position will help ensure an efficient user interface and processing of information.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Enhancing the existing mobile application based on new project requirements;

  • Writing the code;

  • Interacting with another .NET developer and the functional analysts;

  • Developing technical specification;

  • Testing the solution;

  • Support the internal stakeholders on the integration testing, Performance testing and user acceptance testing of the integrated application;

  • Documentation/Training for code deployed to other developers sufficient to permit ongoing production support.


  • Minimum of 6-8 years application development experience and success in significant projects through the full project life cycle - design, development, delivery, and maintenance;

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), organizational, and troubleshooting skills;

  • Technical documentation experience required;

  • Excellent understanding of SDLC lifecycle including waterfall and agile methodologies;

  • Knowledge of Software Architecture and Design principles.
