Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Define specifications for significant new projects and specify, design and develop software according to those specifications. You will perform professional software development tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 more years of software engineering or related experience.

We are seeking a highly energetic Solution Architect and a thought leader that can work with Oracle SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS service
You will engage in a variety customer facing activities such as collaborating with sales teams to win deals, architecting cross-service solutions, building POCs, advising customers, and resolving complex technical issues affecting customers. You will be working in a global team and will typically be involved in multiple engagements at the same time providing you a rapid exposure to varied customer landscape. Much of these engagements will be of high-visibility and high-strategic value, and require A-Team involvement due to the complexity of the required solution, and early stage nature of the products involved. You will be required to code and will be required to partner with customers, SIs, support, and engineering. You will also be required to capture best practices and create collateral such as whitepapers, and blogs.
In a complementing manner, you will work closely with engineering and product management teams, bringing to table typical customer challenges and market demands that Cloud services need to address. Since you will deal with cutting edge products, often in their beta or early releases, you will be required to collaborate with engineering on a regular basis providing constant feedback. The position entails a high level of internal and external visibility with senior management. You should be able to communicate clearly risks with the customer and execute on a plan to de-risk it. You will inherit the reputation of a highly respected team and engineering will treat you as one of their key conduit to customers and partners. You will also be required to code for special internal projects.
Strong understanding of cloud architecture and hybrid on-prem / cloud designs. Strong technical skills and a system wide vision including all aspects of the cloud ecosystem.
Fluent in current Oracle SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS products and experienced in designing complex and large-scale cloud projects, ideally spread across a variety of industries and function domains such as Customer Experience, HCM, ERP, SCM, etc.
Strong understanding and hands-on experience in Oracle PaaS and IaaS related technologies such as Java, integration, mobile, security, storage, compute, and networking.
Highly motivated, self-starter with a quick learning style and a strong ambition to remain up to date with current technologies and trends - including open source, and competitor offerings. Experience with Machine Learning, Blockchain, micro-services, and IoT highly preferred.
Exceptional analytical and critical reasoning skills capable of flexible and lateral thinking.
Highly developed verbal communication and presentation skills; demonstrated comfort level for presentations to senior leadership level meetings.
Work with and across all levels within the business to develop the best solution to an issue/business need required.
A master s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field or a Bachelor s Degree and comparable experience in software development, information technology, and/or data architecture.
Minimum of 10 or more years of experience in progressively responsible information technology.
Ability to travel 20%
