Summary: You will utilize your technical skills and act as a strong development engineer in Test Engineering advocate to provide input into various software development lifecycle stages. This position works within the devops team and requires strong coding skills.


- Writes complex code to test the wide functionality of products and software.

- Builds new tools to assist in faster test automation and functional testing efforts.

- Write automated test scripts that allow for repeatable, reliable testing solutions.

- Drive test scripting efforts; innovating on existing processes.

- Work closely with Development teams to build test script hooks that help in earlier and easier testing.

- Reviews project progress, evaluates results and recommends corrections in technical applications and analysis.

- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


-Coding skills with Java or other programming languages

-Working knowledge in REST/SOAP/JSON API, verifying HTTP responses, methods, headers, etc.

-Working knowledge of NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, MySQL or MongoDB, and graph databases-Neo4j or JanusGraph

-Experience working in devops teams delivering medium to large-scale distributed applications into production, and an excellent understanding of the issues involved.

-Development knowledge in message and data pipeline technologies such as Apache Kafka, Kafka Streams

-Experience working in devops teams delivering medium to large-scale distributed applications into production, and an excellent understanding of the issues involved.

-Experience with Continuous Integration and related tools, such as, Jenkins, Hudson, Maven, etc.

-Experience with Code Quality Governance related tools, such as Gerrit, Sonar, Cobertura, JIRA, etc.

-Experience with distributed source control systems such as Git.

-Experience with Cucumber, RSpec, Selenium, and similar technologies

-Prior experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies

-Experience in Network engineering preferred.

-Working experience on Windows and Linux platforms for both GUI and command line interfaces.

-Working experience in requirements definition, documentation test strategies and defect management

-Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate as part of a team. Creative, self-motivated team player willing to take the lead to develop cutting-edge innovative solutions.Curiosity to learn the newest techniques and technologies.

Job Specification:
