Oracle POS Project Specialist in Cambridge, Massachusetts
Entry-level implementation project professional who manages the relationship with client site during entire Implementation phase. Tracks and coordinates all moving pieces of the Implementation from start to end. 1st level of escalation for onsite installation team.
Manages Implementation Service deliverables throughout installation project including milestones and project schedule. Develops and maintains consistent standards for project delivery. Reviews project proposals. Confers with implementation team, management or account management to locate the appropriate parties to provide technical advice. Creates and communicates status reporting for both internal and external purposes. Manages project closure and handoff to Account Manager and Help Desk.
0 to 2 years of experience relevant to the role. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.

Our Implementation Consultants ensure that our POS solutions meetall of the specifications and functions that are unique to each of ourHospitality clients. Implementation Consultants resolve any gaps inProduct functionality and train our clients how to use the new product. They are also responsible for taking the client live on the system aftereverything has been configured and everyone is trained. ImplementationConsultants are accountable for ensuring a smooth transition and positive userexperience. They are available to answer operational and applicationquestions during the implementation process and after"go-live". They are subject matter experts in the SimphonyProduct. This role requires the minimum of 2 years of overall experience inan applicable role as an IT or POS Deployment Engineer or as an experienceduser of the Simphony POS product or similar products. Candidatesmust have the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with teammembers and clients. This position requires 100% TRAVEL; this is a true RoadWarrior role. The ability to travel as needed which can include weekendsand holidays is a must. Candidates can be based anywhere in theContinental US close to a large, metropolitan airport.
Preference is given to individuals which have the below skills andknowledge
2 years or more experience working in the Hospitality Industry (Hotels and/or Restaurants)
Experience as user of POS systems such as but not limited to (Simphony 2.0, MICROS 3700/8700/9700/e7
Technical experience as it relates to installing Hardware and troubleshooting that Hardware
Knowledge of interfaces and 3rd party vendors
