Seeking a rising Junior or Senior student willing to work 30 hours per week during the summer of 2020.
The Financial Reporting Intern will contribute to the efforts of the Accounting department in our efforts to file our Q2 Form 10-Q. Will work closely with accounting professionals on journal entries, account reconciliations, financial reporting support, financial statements and more. This is a highly technical accounting environment that reaches beyond GAAP to include entry requirements tied to utility regulatory activities. We are seeking a rising junior or above level student.
Help prepare the Form 10-Q to be filed with the SEC
Assist with month-end close, consolidations process and SOX control preparation
Assist with providing information to our external auditors
Obtain exposure in working with within SAP, Hyperion Financial Management (Oracle), Bloomberg and Workiva
Collaborate with staff in various departments including: Rates & Regulatory, Budgeting & Internal Reporting, Cash/Treasury, Legal and Investor Relations
Additional support for special projects as assigned
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Strong organization skills
High level of drive / motivation
Effective communication skills and works well in team environments
Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office programs
Willing to work in Camden, NJ
Pursuing a degree in Accounting
