Primary Role

Responsible for supporting project activities for products and processes within the customer area. Acts as a consultant to project teams in the day-to-day activities of projects through the project life cycle to ensure the successful management and reporting of project outcomes. Acts as a liaison between the business and the various teams.

Key Accountabilities

  • Integrate data and information from projects and customer survey feedback to identify, track and help solve issues based upon trends from data

  • Balancing customer expectations and measurable results that align with leadership's direction

  • Providing project management for all assigned projects (e.g., large scale, multi-disciplinary business and IT system implementations) encompassing the entire project life cycle, associate tasks, communications, reporting, and production support

  • Providing technical and administrative support in support of special projects and day-to-day work activities

  • Identifies, tracks, escalates, and helps solve project issues, conflicts, and problems

  • Identifies and tracks project risks and mitigates risks that jeopardize the project deliverables

  • Consult with the business departments and process owners in defining business requirements and ensuring that requirements are met

  • Builds relationships and leverages influence skills to form a common business and technical solution that drives operational excellence

  • Execute test script within specified timelines

  • Provide proper documentation of test results and output

Knowledge/Skills

  • Expertise in project / program management

  • Knowledge analyzing trends and conditions to inform various strategies

  • Technical competency with broad understanding of the technical issues and ability to keep up to date with new appropriate technology skills

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office Products

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; excellent verbal and written skills

  • Strong program management skills with the ability to plan project tasks/events and execute on time and on budget with quality at the forefront of everything

  • Fast learner with attention to detail

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to work in an agile, fast paced and dynamic environment and be comfortable with constant chang

Experience/Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management or related field of Engineering

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience for a large company or division of a corporation requiring project management and executing on multiple priorities

  • Experience with the water utility industry is highly desired, but not required
